Biodegradation kinetics and drug release behaviors of hyaluronic acid/chondroitin sulfate-based hydrogel system |
초록 |
Hyaluronic acid (HA), a component of the GAGs in the ECMs, is biocompatible, biodegradable, and performs important biological functions such as stabilizing and organizing the ECM, regulating cell adhesion and mobility, and mediating cell proliferation and differentiation. Chondroitin sulfate (CS) is also an important structural component of cartilage and is usually found attached to proteins as part of a proteoglycan. The HA/CS-based hydrogels with various compositions were prepared by using radiation technique. The enzymatic degradation kinetics of hydrogel and the drug release properties from hydrogels were investigated to evaluate the feasibility for artificial skin substitutes. |
