In order to improve the oxidation reduction reaction (ORR) activity of PEMFC electrode, Co was decorated by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method on the Pt/C catalyst which was also synthesized by the same technique. For the CVD of Co on Pt/C, CoCp(CO)2 was adopted as a precursor and which was deposited following the specific CVD process. The resultant CoPt/C catalyst shows higher electrocatalytic activity and also ORR activity compared to the Co(imp)-Pt/C(commercial) catalyst, where Co was added by conventional wet-impregnation technique. |
