Mesoporous carbons (MCs) offer potential applications in the field of catalysis, electrodes, and adsorbents. The graphitic MCs were prepared using the triblock copolymer (Pluronic F127) as a template and phenolic resin as carbon precursors. Also polyhedral oligosilsesquioxanes (POSS), regarded as the smallest possible particles of silica, are used as carbon source and assembled into hierarchically porous carbon structures by a block copolymer-assisted method. In this work, MCs were prepared by an organic-organic self-assembly method with the mixture of phenolic resin and POSS as starting materials, amphiphilic tricopolymers F127 as a soft-template. Their surface, structural, and textural properties were investigated using BET method, adsorption branches of isotherms using BJH method, TEM, XRD, SAXS, potentiometric titration, and thermal analyses. The electrochemical measurements were performed with an electrochemical analyzer system. |
