제목 Hierarchical Multilayer of TiO2 Nanofibers for Dye Sensitized Solar Cells
초록 We synthesized the hollow TiO2 nanofibers using a simple single-spinneret electrospinning and etching process to form TiO2-SiO2 composite nanofibers for DSSCs (Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells). The silicon dioxide nanoparticles were well-dispersed in the TiO2-SiO2 composite nanofibers after the removal of the SiO2 nanofibers by NaOH etching. The result showed hierarchically well-developed hollow structures.  The synthesized samples were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), linear sweep voltammetry (LSV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The adsorption kinetics of N719 dye molecules on thin hierarchical multilayer structures of TiO2 films was measured and interpreted using a pseudo-second order model. It was found that the photovoltaic efficiency of DSSCs was dependent on the hierarchical multilayer of TiO2 nanofibers.
