제목 Synthesis and studies of novel polymer based on indenoindole and benzothiadiazole for organic photovoltaic application
초록 We have synthesized two types of novel indenoindole-co-benzothiadiazole based polymers, such as poly{4-(5-(5-ethyl-10,10-dioctyl-8-(thiophen-2-yl)-5,10-dihydroindeno[1,2-b]indol-2-yl)thiophen-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole} (PIITBT) and poly {4-(5-ethyl-10,10-dioctyl-5,10-dihydroindeno[1,2-b]indol-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole} (PIIBT) via suzuki polymerization conditions. The above polymers were freely soluble in common organic solvents such as CHCl3, CH2Cl2, ODCB, THF, etc.,. These polymers molecular structures were confirmed by 1H and 13C- NMR. The absorbance of PIITBT and PIIBT was observed by UV and it shows 585 and 507 nm and also it shows optical bandgap 1.83 and 2.09 ev respectively. The molecular weight of the polymers PIITBT and PIIBT are determined by GPC and it observed Mw=35,454 g/mol, Mn= 13,562 g/mol and Mw=23,170 g/mol, Mn= 10,172 g/mol correspondingly. Thermal stability of the PIITBT and PIIBT were studied by TGA and DSC they showed Td 389 oC and Td 399 oC, Tg 196 oC and, Tg 121 oC respectively.
