제목 Extraordinary skin regeneration of euglena grailis-derived extracellular microvesicles fabricated by cell extrusion
초록 Extracellular vesicles (EVs) arecell-derived lipid-bound vesicles which can be secreted from almost all typesof cells. Since EVs contain biomolecules of parent cells, their therapeuticefficacy is of great interest in biomedical treatments. However, the isolationof EVs from the cells is time-consuming process with low yields. Theseshortcomings have been tried to be overcome by employing the cell extrusionmethod, in which the cells are extruded through membrane pore. In this study,we introduce euglena gracilis-derived microvesicle (EMVEG)system which was established with aid of the modified-cell extrusion method.Taking advantage of abundant biomolecules encapsulated in the EMVEG,we demonstrate that the EMVEG has practical dermatologicalapplicability for skin regeneration via in vitro scratch assay and western blotanalysis in human keratinocytes. We expect that these EMVEG enableto contribute to biological application in the field of skin therapy andcosmetics.
