Currently, salt-in-polymer systems have been proven using various polymeric matrices and salts for a long time. However, the polymer/Li salt mixtures reported have low lithium transference number (less than 0.5) and Li dendrite growth. To overcome these disadvantages, especially interesting is single-ion conductors which anions are covalently linked to polymer backbone as matrix, thereby only lithium cations participate to conduction. So, we prepared a single-ion conducting silica aerogel, where poly lithium acrylate having lithium cation which only mobile, by sol-gel reaction and radical polymerization. Its ionic conductivity and morphology are investigated using AC impedance measurement and FT-IR and FE-SEM. |
