제목 Highly oriented epitaxial growth of Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-trifluoroethylene) Thin Film on Oriented PTFE substrates
초록 Oriented poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-trifluoroethylene) thin films have been obtained onto oriented poly tetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) substrates. Frictionally rubbing induced oriented PTFE substrates resulted in epitaxially growth of PVDF-TrFE films by spin coating method. The existence of micron size topographic ledges and molecular structure of PTFE chains play a key role in the orientation of ferroelectric thin films, confirmed by TEM and GIXD. Furthermore, the orientation shift of PVDF-TrFE thin film after annealing above melting temperature (Tm) does not occur in oriented ferroelectric thin films deposited on oriented PTFE substrates, which means PVDF-TrFE orientation is maintained on the substrates even after melt and recrystallization. In order to see the effect of highly oriented PVDF-TrFE thin film on its ferroelectric properties, we measured polarization in polymer capacitor and also tested thermal stability.
