제목 | pH-responsive sp2-rich nanodots to inducing photodynamic immune response for cancer treatment |
초록 | The low pH of the cancer microenvironmentis targeted for cancer therapy. Herein, we fabricated sp2-rich nanodotsin structure. Nanodots have imidazole group that appear different physicochemicalproperties depending on pH condition. A photosensitizer was encapsulated innanodots internal structure and was released specifically into cancer microenvironment,thereby inducing photodynamic immune response. In tumor-bearing mouse, nanodotstreated with laser-irradiation group showed a significant tumor therapeuticeffect. Moreover, these group of mouse had higher numbers of mature dendriticcells, natural killer cells and CD8 T cells in tumor tissue than compared tothe other experimental groups. Additionally, it was confirmed that distal tumor’sgrowth was effectively hindered by administration of nanodots and laserirradiation. Therefore, pH-responsive nanodots were accumulated to tumor region,and the nanodots facilitated anti-cancer immunotherapy by photodynamic immuneresponse. |
