제목 Characteristics of UV curable material reinforced with POSS Derivatives
초록 Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS) as an enhancement of polymer nanocomposite has great characteristics like heat revolution reducer, non-inflammability, mechanical property transformer, thermal property improver, and viscosity reducer. In general, Urethane acrylate based binder of a coating material shows 2H of hardness and great optical properties. In this work, we have synthesized two POSS-based derivatives, POSS-SH and POSS-HEMA, as the additive in order to increase the blend miscibility and mechanical properties of binder materials. Two POSS derivatives were mixed with the urethane acrylate based binder for a coating solution. The result showed that the film of POSS-mixed composite binder give rise to the highly improved properties in terms of the blend miscibility and the surface hardness. The POSS derivatives and the coated film were characterized by FT-IR, FE-SEM, AFM, UV-Vis, Pencil Hardness test and so on.
