A microfluidics approach for the formation of well-defined microcapsules based on self-assembly of azo compound |
초록 |
The development of a novel technique to fabricate spherical polymeric microcapsules by using micro fluidics technology is presented. In the microchannel, the behavior of molecular self-assembly have proven using the amphiphilic azo compound. The flow conditions of two immiscible solutions were adjusted for the successful generation of the droplets. Azo ligands are able to stabilize metals in their lower oxidation states. It has been widely employed in the complexing of heavy metal ions due to it’s remarkable color change from yellow to red when complexed with metal ions. It is characterized by FT-IR and UVvis spectroscopy, NMR and The morphology of the microcapsules was examined by SEM. |
