제목 | Mechanical strength and thermal conductivity of Ni/pelletized CNT/PP nanocomposites |
초록 | In this study, nickel-coated pelletized CNT-reinforced PP nanocomposites were prepared with various nickel and CNT content, and their mechanical strength and thermal conductivity were studied. Pelletized CNT were prepared by a home-made pellet machine with a magnesium oxide binder. Nickel coating was accomplished by a well-known chemical reduction method. The mechanical strength and thermal conductivity of the nanocomposites were studied by a UTM and a hot-plate type thermal conductivity meter, respectively. From the results, it was found that the mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of the composites were dramatically enhanced with increasing metal and CNT content. |
