제목 Dual role of hybrid buffer layer in organic photovoltaic cell : electron blocking and enhancing stability.
초록 We investigate the effect of interfacial buffer layer on the performance of organic photovoltaic cell based on regioregular poly-(3-hexylthiophene) and [6,6]phenyl C60 butyric acid methyl ester blend. By inserting an organic thin layer between transparent anode (ITO) and polymeric buffer layer, we could block the separated electrons, thereby increasing photo conversion efficiency (PCE). It is approved that hole-transporting was not hindered by mismatch of HOMO level due to the dipole layer formed between interlayers. Interfacial interlayer also plays a role as a protection layer for ITO. ITO damage by acidic polymeric buffer layer is diminished so the device reliability was enhanced.
