제목 THE PERMEATION RATE AS DIFFERENCE OF MICRONEEDLE SHAPE
초록 Transdermal delivery is severely limited by the inability of the large majority of drug to cross skin at therapeutic rates due to the great barrier imposed by skin’s outer stratum corneum layer. So, it was the main problem that drug was cross the skin at Transdermal Durg Delivery System (TDDS). In this study, we used The three type of microneedles; roll type, triangle type, crown type. we used FITC labeled insulin as the model drug. It was confirmed that each of microneedle system showed the same tendency regardness the type of microneedle and drug. The triangle type enhanced skin permeation rate related with crown type. Also, crown type enhanced skin permeation rate compared with roll type. It was confirmed that height and number of needle in microneedle system affected drug delivery. Especially, we confirmed that height of needle more influenced skin permeation rate than number of needle.
