제목 A simple sensitive colorimetric detection for formaldehyde gas using poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride) /polyethylene imine core shell nanoparticle
초록 Formaldehyde is a probable human carcinogen, an allergen, and an intense irritant of eyes and mucous membranes and is therefore highly problematic as an indoor pollutant.   The chemosensor for formaldehyde was prepared through the nano particle synthesis that has the optimal particle properties. In the first step, the styrene (St) and the maleic anhydride (MA) were synthesized to poly(styrene-co-maleic anhydride) (PSMA) particle through surfactant free polymerization. Second step, the shell formation of PEI was carried out through that polyethyleneimine (PEI) was grafted on hydrophilic site on PSMA surface using esterified reaction. In last third step, the Bromo cresol purple (BCP), Methyl Red (MR) as colormetric dye was deposited into the hydrophobic site on PSMA. The primary amine of PEI was reacted with formaldehyde as nucleophilic additional reaction, formaldehyde an imine. The colormetric PSMA-PEI core-shell changed was measured by and flatbed scanner.
