제목 | Synthesis and characterization of binary electrolytes composed of carbonate and ionic liquids for lithium ion batteries |
초록 | Currently, lithium ion batteries (LIBs) have been researched to overcome safety issue by replacing the commercially carbonate such as dimethyl carbonate (DMC) owing to their lower safety resistance. In this respect, the ionic liquids (ILs) have been studied to alternate the conventional carbonate solution due to their non-flammable and non-volatile properties. However, the only ILs could not be suitable for the electrolytes because of their high viscosity and low ionic conductivity. To overcome their each disadvantage, we suggest the binary electrolytes composed of the ILs and conventional carbonate solution with various ratios. In this work, we study not only the thermal and physicochemical properties but also the electrochemical performance of binary electrolytes while change the ratio of prepared ILs and carbonates. Among these data, especially, the electrochemical performance of binary electrolytes is similar to that of the only carbonate solution at room or high temperature. |
