제목 The investigation for active site of Ni catalyst on hydrazine oxidation in direct hydrazine fuel cell
초록 Direct hydrazine fuel cells (DHFCs) are regarded as alternative energy conversion system due to the powerful activity of hydrazine. A lot of DHFCs research for high performance has been reported since non-precious metal is more high active on hydrazine oxidation than precious metals. Nevertheless, the study for active site of Ni catalyst on hydrazine oxidation in alkaline is still necessary. Herein, we synthesized Ni catalyst with high electrochemical oxidation for the hydrazine in alkaline media. And, we tried to analyze the active site of Ni, NiO and Ni(OH)2 on the hydrazine oxidation in alkaline media electrochemically and discussed the understanding for activity of Ni surface. Further, the synthesized anode catalyst was applied to the single cell system. we showed direct hydrazine fuel cell with high performance in alkaline media.
