Activation of Pd/SSZ-13 by hydrothermal aging treatment for low temperature NO adsorption ability |
초록 |
Pd/SSZ-13 after hydrothermal aging (HTA) treatment at 750 °C for 25 hr exhibited improved NO adsorption performance at low temperature (below 120 °C), although those calcined at 500 °C (fresh) did not have good NO adsorption ability irrespective of the Pd loading methods. Investigation of Pd species such as H2-TPR and EXAFS clearly demonstrate that PdO primarily existed over the fresh samples, whereas HTA samples contained ionic Pd species, indicating the redispersion of PdO into highly dispersed Pd ion species. DRIFT results show the formation of nitrosyl complexes adsorbed on Pd ions, which are directly related to the NOx desorption peaks. All combined results provide the evidence about the generation of ionic Pd species arising from the HTA treatment, which play as the NO adsorption sites. |
