제목 Enhancement of MEA through the Microwave-irradiation control for PEMFC
초록 We first developed the novel and easy controllable method for enhancing the membrane electrode assembly (MEA) of the fuel cell by using the microwave irradiation treatment. Through the microwave treatment, mass transfer performance was improved, increasing the Pt catalyst utilization, reducing the electrical loss and generating more active site areas. the  Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements (BET) were employed to analyze MEA. The performance of microwave-treated MEA was evaluated by measuring current-voltage (I-V) characteristics, Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrode impedance.
