Hybrid and advanced distillation process technologies: a way to commercial biorefinery process |
| 초록 |
Despite a sustainable route of renewable resources for energy supply, the separation and/or purification of biofuels and biochemicals from reaction or fermentation step have great concerns due to low product concentration, low recovery through conventional ways, data limitation, and commercial suppression. Extensive research effort has been focused on applying innovative hybrid and advanced distillation techniques to improve the economics of commercial biorefineries, which includes membrane-based and extraction-based hybrid distillation processes as well as advanced distillation configurations. This talk will give an overall introduction with main results how these distillation technologies could be utilized for commercial biorefineries.
