MEO is emerging field towards an environmental pollutant removal process that operated only by anodic part of a full electrochemical cell. At the same time, MER is in initial level. The present investigation focuses on reduction of TCE (trichloro ethylene) using electro-generated Co(I)(CN)54- and Ni(I)(CN)54-. At first, 0.01 M CoSO4, and anode (Pt) have fixed in the by in the anode part. The reduction of 0.01 M Co(II)(CN)53- and Ni(II)(CN)53- in 10 M KOH constant at Ag cathode monitored. The reduction of Co(II)(CN)53- and Ni(II)(CN)53- confirmed via ORP electrode. The reduction efficiencies were calculated using titration with KMnO4. Additionally, CV results support the mediated reduction of TCE via Co(I)(CN)54-and Ni(I)(CN)54-. The NIR analysis showed product that formed in the reduction process |
