Fabrication and characterization of BMP2-VEGF incorporated nano-cellulose loaded sponge biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) scaffold to study the effect of growth factor incorporated nano-cellulose for bone regeneration |

In this work we report the fabrication and detailed biocompatibility evaluation of BMP2-VEGF incorporated nano-cellulose loaded sponge biphasic calcium phosphate (BCP) scaffold. The sponge BCP scaffold was prepared by replica method and then it was coated with BMP2-VEGF incorporated 0.5% nano-cellulose. Material characterization was provided by porosity, FTIR and SEM. Detailed biocompatibility was carried out by MTT, Cell proliferation, cell differentiation and implantation in nude mouse. Invivo and invitro results showed superior biocompatibility of the fabricated BMP2-VEGF incorporated nano-cellulose loaded sponge BCP scaffold. |
