제목 Self-Sensing and Microfailure Evaluation of Single Carbon Fiber/CNT-PhenolNanocomposites using Electro-Micromechanical Technique
초록 Self-sensing and interfacial properties were investigated for carbon fiber/phenol and CNT-phenol nanocomposites by electro-micromechanical techniques. Compressive strength of pure phenol and CNT-phenol nanocomposites were compared using Broutman test. Contact resistance of CNT-phenol nanocomposites was obtained using two and four-point methods. Surface energy and dynamic contact angle of CNT-phenol nanocomposites were measured using Wilhelmy plate method. CNT-phenol nanocomposites exhibited a higher apparent modulus than neat phenol resin due to better stress transfer. Interfacial shear strength between single carbon fiber and CNT-phenol nanocomposites increased due to the increased viscosity and nano-structures of CNT at the interface.
