Preparation and characterization of Hyaluronic acid/Chitosan hydrogels |

Hyaluronic acid/Chitosan hydrogels(HC) have been extensively investigated for wound healing dressings with Nepidermin due to their sustain releasing, fast swelling and absorbent properties. In this study HC was characterized by viscometer and rheometer. We have been described physicochemical properties: Fluid handing capacity, fluid retention, Integrity, degradation tests. From the study on the swelling behavior of HC is considered to be an important factor control their swelling properties. This research was financially supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy(MKE), Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology(KIAT) and Honam Leading Industry Office through the Leading Industry Development for Economic Region. |
