제목 Synthesis and characterization of sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s membranes containing phosphinate pendant group for fuel cell application.
초록 Sulfonated poly(arylene ether)s membranes were prepared from DOPO-BPA, 4,4’-sulfonyldiphenol, 1,4-bis(4-fluoro benzoyl)benzene(1,4-FBB), and followed by a post sulfonation modification with chlorosulfonic acid. DOPO-BPA is a phosphinate pendant structure, which enable to enhance the Tg, and selectively sulfonated on phenyl rings of polymer side chain. A series of membranes were studied intrinsic viscosity, water uptake, oxidation stability, AFM, 1H-NMR, FT-IR and TGA. The ion exchange capacity (IEC) and proton conductivity of S-DOPO-FBBs were evaluated with increase of degree of sulfonation.
