Amphiphilic nanogel(c-Dxt/pMMA) of dextrin and poly(methyl methacrylate) was developed through radical polymerization using KPS initiator and MBA crosslinker. Its structure and composition with spherical shape in 100 nm ranges have been chemically characterized and FESEM and TEM. Swelling and rheology demonstrated nanogel characteristics. In-vitro cytotoxicity assay against human mesenchymal stem cells signifies that it is non-toxic and biocompatible and simultaneously encapsulated as well as sustain-releaseed both ciprofloxacin and ornidazole drugs. It efficiently encapsulated doxorubicin hydrochloride(Dox) and its physical interactions with drug. Cytotoxicity of the Dox-loaded nanogel against MG 63 cancer cells, cellular uptake and intracellular release revealed that it could be internalized by cancer cells and destroy the cells efficiently. These results recommend that it could be used as promising drugs carrier as well as anticancer delivery matrix. |
