Bimetallic Ni-Co nanoparticles as efficient coke resistant catalysts for dry reforming of methane |
초록 |
Dry reforming of methane (DRM) is an environmentally friendly process that converts methane and carbon dioxide to produce hydrogen. Nickel catalysts are mainly used in DRM reaction due to their high catalytic activity and low cost. However, it flocculates easily at high temperatures and severe coking deposits occur. There are two representative strategies for reducing coke deposition of nickel catalysts. One of them is to use bimetallic Ni and Co catalysts. Another strategy is to use a reducible oxide as a support. In this study, bimetal Ni-Co nanoparticles were prepared by varying the weight ratio of Co/Ni and supported to CeO2 to find the optimal ratio showing both high catalytic activity and stability. |
