제목 In Situ Forming Hyaluronate Hydrogels by Host-Guest Chemistry Encapsulating Mesenchymal Stem Cells for Cancer Therapy
초록 Biomimetic supramolecular hydrogels were successfully developed using hyaluronate (HA) conjugated with cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6]) and polyamines (PAs). The strong and selective host-guest interaction between CB[6] and PA made possible supramolecular assembly of CB[6]/PA-HA hydrogels in the presence of cells. Then, the 3D environment of CB[6]/PA-HA hydrogels could be modularly modified by the simple treatment with various multifunctional tags-CB[6]. Engineered mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to release interleukin-12 (IL-12), which were encapsulated in the supramolecular injectable CB[6]/DAH-HA hydrogles, showed a significant inhibitory effect on tumor growth. Taken together, CB[6]/DAH-HA hydrogels were thought to be effectively exploited for various drug delivery and tissue engineering applications.
