제목 | Mechanistic Analysis of Extra-Capacity of Dilithium Terephthalate |
초록 | Inorganic electrode materials including LiCoO2, LiMnO2, LiNiO2 and LiFePO4 and graphite have been widely used for lithium ion batteries due to their high durability and efficiency.[1] Interesting in 2009, Tarascon and coworkers showed dilithium terephthalate can be efficiently utilized for lithium ion batteries.[2] It has been known that the conjugated structure of terephthalate between dicarboxylate and phenyl ring allows electrochemical insertion of two lithium ions with two electrons during the discharge steps. However, Han et al reported extra-lithium insertion into conjugated organic structure.[3] Herein, we present the first mechanism analysis of dilithium terephthalate by ex-situ NMR and XRD methods.
