Conductive polymeric yarn has attracted significant interest as a key component of smart textiles and wearable devices due to flexibility, comfortability, wearability and generality. However, the polymer-based conductive yarn is not yet sufficient conductivity, chemical stability, and tensile strength as to be used for electronic devices. Therefore, in this work, we selected more suitable polymeric yarn for producing a high conductive yarn, and also coated poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) for producing a highly conductive polymeric yarn. In addition, we investigated chemical agents such as sorbitol, N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) to improve the conductivity. As a result, we fabricated high conductive polymeric yarn. |
