제목 | Microsphere-Nanosphere Assembly though Specific Interaction |
초록 | Surface functionalized nanospheres have been prepared through single step heterogeneous polymerization technique1, followed by adsorption through chemical or electrostatic interaction onto inert gold surface to provide well ordered self-assembly hyperstructure for the applications of microelectronics and biomaterials.2 Monodisperse organic nanospheres having carboxylic acid on the surface were prepared by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization, and then functionalized by thiol-containing hydrocarbon.3 The surface properties of nanospheres with diameter of about 140 ㎚ examined on electrophoretic light scattering (ELS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscope (XPS) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Self-assembly of these fuctionalized nanospheres on gold microsphere was examined by SEM and thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) to verify structural homogeneity and stability. Fig 1.
