제목 Dispersion of Diaminosulfonic Acid Grafted Carbon Nanotubes in Nafion Nanocomposite Membranes
초록 Sulfonic acid ending groups, 2, 5-diaminosulfonic acid, were grafted to carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Then the diaminosulfonic acid grafted CNTs were reinforced to Nafion membrane by solution casting. The thickness of the prepared nanocomposite membranes was approximately 80 µm. Dispersion of the diaminosulfonic acid grafted CNTs were investigated with various adding amount in the ranging 0.5-5 wt% based on the weight of Nafion polymer weight. Then the well dispersed nanocomposite membranes were prepared and characterization for fuel cell applications with ion exchange capacity, methanol uptake and thermal stability. The diaminosulfonic acid grafted CNTs well dispersed nanocomposite membranes produced highly improved properties for fuel cell applications.
