We synthesized polyquinoxailnes(PQs) using fluorene unit as electron donor and quinoxaline derivatives unit as electron donor via Suzuki coupling polymerization. The PQs generated reactive oxygen species(ROS) under solar light irradiation. The ROS are chemically reactive species such as peroxide, superoxide, hydroxyl radical and singlet oxygen. Recently, many researchers are interested in the field of ROS-mediated photocatalysis because ROS present high reactivity to olefin and amine compounds. In this study, we investigated the photocatalysis efficiency of the PQs via conversion of benzylamine into N-benzylidene(phenyl)methanamine benzylamine by monitoring 1H NMR. Also, the photocatalytic activity of PQs was evaluated in the N,N-dimethyl-4-nitrosoaniline (RNO) dye. For practical use in the photocatalyst reaction, we fabricated a paper-based strips containing the PQs via simple wetting of filter paper in polymer solution. |
