제목 | Cellulose nanofiber/alginate hydrogel embedding Chlorella vulgaris |
초록 | Chlorella vulgaris is embedded in a cellulose nanofiber (CNF)/alginate hydrogel through ionic crosslinking with CaCl2 solution. The ratio of CNF/alginate, thickness and transparency of the hydrogel were varied for the adjustment of hydrogel crosslinking density which affected on the stiffness of the hydrogels. The hydrogel embedding C. vulgaris was monitored every day and imaged with an optical microscope for the evaluation of the continuous growth in the hydrogel. The appropriate fluidity and transparency of the composite hydrogel were crucial for the growth of C. vulgaris.
