제목 Preparation of highly porous carbon nanofiber electrodes via surface crosslinking of electrospun 6FDA-durene nanofibers
초록 A supercapacitor, which stores its energy at the interface between electrodes and electrolyte, requires several conditions to obtain high energy storage performance. The electrodes must be flexible and have high electrical conductivity. In addition, high porosity of electrodes is critical for the adsorption/desorption of electrolyte ions.
Precursor polymer, 6FDA-durene was synthesized using 6FDA(4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene diphthalic anhydride) and durene-diamine(2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-1,3-phenyldiamine). 6FDA-durene was electrospun, cross-linked, and thermally treated to produce carbon nanofibers. Surface cross-linking treatment was performed to increase the surface area and porosity of carbon nanofiber electrodes by converting imide group to amide group using ethylenediamine (EDA) vapor. It was shown that carbon nanofibers derived from cross-linked 6FDA-durene have significantly higher capacitances compared to those from non-treated one.
