Preparation of nano-sized metal catalysts by using chelate complex and its catalytic activity |
| 초록 |
Methyltheophylline was used as an additive for the selective Pd extraction. The high selectivity for Pd extraction was due to the formation of chelate complex of Pd and methyltheophylline. The chelate compounds make small crystalline particles in organic solvent. And then the nano particles could be obtained by calcination of the crystalline particles. In this study, the chelate compounds were used as precursor of Pd nano catalysts. The alumina supported Pd catalysts were prepared by conventional impregnation method and a new method using chelate compounds. Consequently, the Pd/alumina catalyst made by new method showed higher combustion activity for VOC compounds. |
