제목 Electromagnetic Properties of Semi-Interpenetrating Network Poly(phenylene) Oxide / Ni-Zn type ferrite Composites
초록 The electromagnetic properties of semi-interpenetrating (IPN) poly(phenylene) oxide (PPO)/Ni-Zn type ferrite composites are investigated. 2,2-bis(4-cyanatophenyl)propane (CPP) and 4,4'-(1,3-phenylene diisopropylidene) bisaniline (BIS) are used as crosslinking agent. The composites are fabricated via melt-mixing of crosslinking agent and peroxide in precursor PPO obtained by precipitating the suspension of PPO and ferrite into methanol as poor solvent for PPO. Semi-IPN structure of PPO/crosslinking agent is confirmed by field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM). Permittivity and permeability of semi-IPN PPO/ferrite composites are measured by coaxial method using vector network analyzer (VNA). The crosslinking of PPO with CPP/BIS is effective for lowering the permittivity due to the suppression of the orientation polarization of matrix. In contrast, the crosslinking is lost on permeability of PPO/ferrite composites.
