제목 Gd conjugated organic nanoparticles with Enhanced r1 relaxivity and photothermal therapy
초록 Developing well-designed T1 imaging agents has been highlighted nowadays because of several disadvantages of T2 contrast agent such as low contrast and distortion of neighboring tissues. In addition to the efficient T1 imaging, localized therapy has been persued for the cancer therapy. Therefore we syntheszied Gd (III) chelated polymer nanoparticles (GPNPs) which could be applied in highly T1 enhanced imaging and photothermal therapy. Moreover, therapeutic antibody was conjugated on the GPNPs for the specific diagnosis and therapy of cancer. Fabricated GPNPs represented significantly high relaxivity (r1) as well as photothermal ability. The physicochemical properties and biocompatibilities of GPNPs were fully analyzed and GPNPs exhibited excellent tumor targeting ability, diagnosis efficacy and photothermal ability. Consequently, GPNPs exhibited strong potential for efficient diagnosis of cancer in MR imaging and phothermal ablation of epithelial cancer cells.
