제목 Synthesis of high temperature sulfur-rich polymers for IR optical applications
초록 After seminal research on inverse vulcanization, many sulfur-rich polymer application studies for IR optics have been conducted. However, improvements are still needed in terms of IR transmittance and thermomechanical stability. In this study, stable sulfur-rich polymers were synthesized even when the sulfur content was up to 90 wt% by using a novel crosslinking agent capable of high crosslinking density. Due to the high sulfur content, the IR transmittacne and refractive index were also improved compared to the existing reference. It was verified through DSC measurement that the glass transition temperature could be controlled up to 170 due to the high crosslinking density at 70wt% of sulfur content.
