Preparation and Physical Properties of EVA Films Containing PCM Microcapsules |

The phase changing material repeatedly exhibits the characteristic of absorbing heat when the ambient temperature is lowered and the phase is changed to emit heat while crystallizing, and when the ambient temperature becomes higher, it absorbs, stores and emits heat itself. In addition, the microcapsule protects the debris from the external environment, and the debris causes the phase transition due to the temperature change due to the external environment or the change in the skin temperature of the human body. PCM microcapsule products have the ability to improve the thermal comfort of the wearer by providing cooling or warming effect to the human body. In this study, PCM microcapsules were prepared and compounded with EVA resin to prepare PCM-containing composite resin.
