Fabrication of Electrospun Core-Shell Nanofiber Organic Field-Effect Transistors for Transparent and Stretchable Electronic Devices |

Semiconducting nanofibers (NFs) have been highlighted as core components of stretchable electronic devices as active layers which could be applicable as wearable smart electronic devices. Electrospinning technique is generally known as a powerful method for fabrication of one-dimensional nanomaterials with various advantages. Herein, we report core-shell NF-based on core-shell NFs electrospun by co-axial nozzle. The core-shell NFs consist of two different compositions which stretchable and semiconducting part, respectively. The core-shell NFs showed high stretchability compared with single nozzle-based NFs. For the fabrication of stretchable transistors, elastomeric polymer was utilized for substrate and dielectrics. Our demonstration will suggest the high possibility of NF-based transistors for use as key components in wearable electronics. |
