제목 Collagen/PCL Nanofibers Cross-linking and Characterization of Physical Properties as Irradiation Dose
초록 Electrospun polymeric nanofibers have been extensively studied for biomedical materials because of their unique structures and relatively easy fabrication with biocompatible polymers. In this study, we developed collagen/PCL nanofibrous, hybrid nanofibrous scaffolds composed of poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL) and type Ι collagen were cross-linked without the addition of a chemical cross-linking agent using 60Co γ-ray irradiation. The irradiation dose to effectively crosslink the collagen and PCL without chemical cross-linking agent was varied. After that, the surface morphology of scaffolds were analyzed by SEM, physicochemical properties were measured through FT-IR, water contact angle. As a result, by varying the dose, the PCL and collagen were increased surface wettability and mechanical properties by the cross-linking reaction. Therefore, its will be used to effective tissue engineered biomaterials by the improved biocompatibility and biological function.
