Optimizing Carbon content ratio in liquid electrode to enhance an electrochemical performance of liquid capacitor |
초록 |
Supercapacitor has been known as a promising energy storage device in the places requiring various power sources. Supercapacitors are many advantages such as fast response time, high power, low cost, and long life span. It is the reason for the devices to be applied in various industrial field for a long time. But, there are many limitations to apply them to high capacity energy storage system due to their low energy density. Many new concepts have been tried and studied to solve this problem. We have applied flow system in supercapacitor with the external electrolyte tank, which can make it possible to improve capacitance and energy density. The liquid electrode was produced by stirring activated carbon, conductive additive, and electrolyte. In this study, we have investigated an effect of carbon content to the electrochemical performance of liquid capacitor. |
