제목 Stabilization of sustained release in PLGA Microspheres using polymeric complex
초록 Drug loaded PLGA-MS is a form of drug encapsulated in polymer spherical microspheres. escitalopram (ET) loaded PLGA-MS hydration proceeds in the body for several tens of days, the ET contained in the PLGA-MS begins to be released to the outside. A disadvantage of PLGA-MS is the initial burst. In this study, poly-galacturonic acid(PGA) was added to the ET for stabilization of release. we confirmed that the initial burst phenomenon of PLGA-MS can be partially solved by adding PGA to in vitro release experiment. The material that can be added to PLGA-MS is still an unknown task, so studies of the drug-loaded PLGA-MS sustained release stabilization by addition of additives are very promising for the future development of various biomedical applications.
