In spite of, Li salt-in-polymer electrolyte systems have been studied using various polymeric matrices, the most of the polymer/Li salt electrolytes reported have low lithium transference number (less than 0.5).To overcome such a low transference number, especially interesting studies are single-ion conductors where anions are covalently bonded to back bone of silica network, by that means only Li cations can move. We develop polymer electrolytes based on silica aerogel which single-ion conductor, where poly acrylic acid having lithium cation is anchored covalently, by sol-gel reaction and radical polymerization. Its ionic conductivity and morphology and chemical structure are investigated using FTIR and FE-SEM and AC impedance spectroscopy. |
