제목 Highly Porous Gold-Polymer Hybrid Microspheres Prepared Using Polydopamine Chemistry
초록 We employ bio-inspired polydopamine chemistry for the synthesis of porous gold-polymer hybrid microspheres through spontaneous reduction of gold ion precursors into gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) within porous polymer microspheres. Highly open porous poly(ethylene glycol dimethacrylate-co-acrylonitrile) (poly(EGDMA-co-AN)) microspheres are prepared by conventional suspension polymerization. The internal surfaces of the prepared microspheres are coated by polydopamine via the oxidative polymerization of dopamines. Polydopamine mediates the spontaneous reduction of Au ion precursors into solid AuNPs within the microspheres. The structural properties and surface chemistry of the prepared Au-polymer hybrid microspheres are investigated.
