제목 | An Ice-templating method for porous ceramic structures and its applications |
초록 | There have been many attempts to have porous structure in various ways, and one of them is an ice-templating method. The ice-templating method, also known as a freeze-casting, is recently getting attracted to many researchers due to its unique and interesting features and possibility of a route for achieving biomimetic structure. A porous structure can be obtained by freezing a ceramic suspension and subsequently removing the ice crystals by sublimation, leading to aligned porous lamellar structures with homogeneous and well-defined hierarchical architecture. In this work, we have studied the ice-templating method for some applications to have enhanced properties with the unique hierarchical porous structure. We have prepared the porous ceramic structure with a lamellar architecture and applied in various applications with the porous structures itself,and moreover, infiltrating metals and polymers in the porous scaffold, the fabricated composites have enhanced properties of structural and materials advantages. The influence of this hierarchical structure on performances was investigated and discussed in detail. |
