제목 Effective dispersion of nanocatalysts for DMFC electrode by Dual-Mode Spray Deposition
초록 Noble catalysts, such as Pt black and PtRu black, have been dispersed on the electrodes by an air-spraying method for direct liquid fuel cell. However, the air-spraying method has some drawbacks such as aggregation of nanocatalysts due to the big droplet size and catalysts loss to the atmosphere. To solve these problems, in this study, we used dual-mode spray, which modified the air-spray by applying high voltage, for the efficient dispersion of nanocatalysts. The prepared catalysts on the electrodes were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, cyclic voltammetry and impedance. Also, the prepared electrodes were assembled as a MEA using Nafion electrolyte membrane, and the single cell test was performed.
