제목 | Effects of Ethylene Glycol for Growth of One-Dimensional Barium Titanate Nanoparticles Prepared by Hydrothermal Reaction |
초록 | Tailoring the structure of nanomaterials is an interesting area in nanotechnology. One-dimensional(1-D) structure, for instance, are suitable for transfer of electrons and optical excitations. Barium titanate has been used as a major material in electro-optical devices, and multi-layer ceramic capacitors due to its ferroelectric properties. However, there are few reports on synthesis methods and characteristics of shape-controlled single-crystal barium titanate. Shape-controlled nanoparticles have been synthesized by molten salt and hydrothermal. In ternary perovskite material, hydrothermal method is easier to control the shape of nanoparticles. In this research, 1-D growth of barium titanate nanoparticles have been investigated by hydrothermal process with small amount of organic additive . Various experiments were conducted to demonstrate the effect of additive on the morphology of barium titanate nanoparticles. The crystallinity and morphology of synthesized Barium titanate nanoparticles have been characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). |
