제목 Flexible, Conductive Carbon Composites for Wearable Electronics
초록 Wearable electronics has progressed dramatically and has opened the prospective future, including electric circuits, flexible displays, stretchable energy storages, electronic skins, wearable devices, etc. We developed simple and cost-effective fabrication method of nanohybrid composites with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and silicone rubber, such as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) elastomer, for improving its electrical and mechanical properties for wearable electronics. CNT/silicone rubber composites provide high flexibility, elasticity, and electrical/thermal conductivity itself and are also biocompatible and mechanically stable, while they are demonstrated to create functional materials that are used for effective bio-signal monitoring. This composite provides a promising a material for various applications of flexible, stretchable and wearable electronic devices, particularly considering the growing global interests in wearable healthcare monitoring system.
